Sawgrass Bay Elementary School

Clancy & Theys was selected to provide a general contracting to the construction of Sawgrass Bay Elementary School.

This particular project was issued “Hard Bid” by Lake County Schools. The Clancy & Theys competitive bidding process won the bid by just less than one percent of the next competing firm.
Designed by SchenkelShultz Architecture, the new prototypical, two-story elementary school includes 60 classrooms, cafeteria with platform stage, media center, music, art and science labs, resource rooms and administrative offices.

Just before school commenced in the fall of 2007, Clancy & Theys’ project team presented the teachers with new microwaves and refrigerators for all of the teacher labs which were very much appreciated.
