Overview
In 2018, Clancy and Theys completed the new construction of Phase 1 of the Charlotte Locomotive and Railcar Maintenance Facility, designed by Morris Berg. The 6,800 SF structure serves as Phase 1 of the ongoing construction of the Charlotte Locomotive Railcar Maintenance Facility.
The building houses new commercial office space, conference rooms, and meeting rooms. Office amenity space includes a break area warming kitchen, locker rooms, and showers.
This project was funded through Federal funds. We were successful with the Buy America initiative and completed the project with very few waivers.
