Bald Head Island Public Safety Building - Clancy & Theys Construction

Overview

Clancy & Theys Construction Company provided Construction Manager at-Risk services for The Village of Bald Head Island Public Safety Complex. The project consisted of the construction of a new two-story 26,500 SF building. The facility houses the fire, police, EMS, and life-saving facilities of Bald Head Island under one roof. This project was logistically challenging because passenger vehicles are prohibited on the island. Construction materials and equipment were transported on and off the island using a barge, while workers and crews were transported by ferry.
