Clancy & Theys Construction Company was awarded the opportunity to design and build a project for the Lake Mary Community Center.
This project is a new 15,000 SF lakefront community center currently dubbed the “crown jewel” of the city. It replaced a 25-year-old facility that accommodated business meetings, weddings, receptions, banquets, parties, and retreats.
The community center includes banquet and meeting facilities and outdoor ceremony sites with stunning views of Crystal Lake and the Event Lawn. It also consists of a complete catering kitchen and staff offices. In inclement weather, a glass-enclosed rotunda provides a beautiful ceremony site in lieu of the outdoor sites.
The design fits the downtown area’s architectural style and context and incorporates traditional, low-maintenance, sustainable materials.
