Live Oak Bank Building One

Overview

The first of three buildings on the Live Oak Campus was constructed by Clancy & Theys. Building One is a new 35,780 SF two-story office building. Constructed with an exposed glulam structure and clad with a natural cypress wood exterior, the building reflects its coastal North Carolina location. The interior also incorporates custom cypress millwork throughout, including ceilings, conference room, lounge, gym, corridors, and even accents in individual workstations. A total of 50,000 board feet of cypress was used in the building, featuring extensive glass, porches, outdoor courtyards, and walking trails for a naturally refined environment.

The building has received numerous awards from the AIA, Lower Cape Fear Stewardship Development Coalition, IIDA Carolinas Design Works, the 2014 Tree Awards for Preservation & Landscape Design, and the 2014 Wilmington Real Estate Awards.

Clancy & Theys additionally completed buildings Live Oak Bank Building Two and Live Oak Bank Building Three with pride, further refining the campus.
