Oak Hill Elementary School Replacement

Overview

The project included demolishing the existing building along with covered walkways, miscellaneous storage, and mechanical buildings. The new construction, totaling 72,570 SF, included a two-story prototype building on an occupied campus. The new facility accommodates 650 student stations and comprises classrooms, skills/resource labs, art, music, administration, kitchen, dining/multi-purpose room, media center, and support spaces.

Site work included enhancements to new bus loops, playgrounds, sports areas, retention ponds, and parking. The building structure included conventional spread footing foundations, load-bearing tilt-wall panels, a structural steel frame, and low-slope flat roofs.
