Clancy & Theys Construction Company provided construction services for the three-story, 89,000 SF building with a mechanical penthouse that combines Onslow County’s Health Department and Department of Social Services programs into one complex. The building, known as the Consolidate Human Services Agency, includes spaces for open office configuration, private offices, high-density file storage, conference and training spaces, a full clinic, laboratory, pharmacy, and many other health services functions. The work includes plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and sprinkler systems. The facility holds the corner of College and Warlick Streets. It preserves the site’s urban context while creating a large open courtyard on the interior for outdoor functions such as farmer’s markets and education fairs.
