Clancy & Theys Construction Company is excited to announce they were chosen for a CM at-risk project for the highly known State Employees Credit Union. The new State Employees’ Credit Union tower is stunning 12-story landmark in the heart of downtown Raleigh. The 252,533 sq ft building was constructed with drilled shaft foundations on a tight site. The building has a six-level concrete parking deck integrated within it. The balance of the structure is steel framed. The shell is an 80% specialty curtain wall system and specialty lighting highlights this one-of-a-kind structure making it visible for miles. Clancy & Theys also completed all the buildouts for each floor. After seeing our team’s high-quality work on the building as a whole the owner has recently asked our company to return to renovate and upfit the 11th floor as half of it was unoccupied shell space.
