Clancy & Theys Construction Company provided construction management in the Umstead Hotel Renovations. This five star hotel renovation in three phases, included soft good renovations of the following public areas: Heron’s Restaurant, the art gallery, the bar, the sun room, Chihuly Room, the lobby, the concierge, fireplace room, and conference corridors. Project also includes the renovation of 154 guest rooms. The Spa was also renovated and expanded. The scope included a new exterior co-ed whirlpool, expanded wet lounges and relaxation lounges, new couples treatment rooms, a complete soft goods renovation, and refurbishment of the existing whirlpools and steam rooms.
