Overview
Clancy & Theys Construction Company was chosen to provide Construction Manager at Risk services for Valencia College’s first three buildings on the new Poinciana Campus.
The project comprised a three-story, 70,000 SF academic building, a single-story, 5,000 SF classroom/trades building, and a central energy plant. The College opted for a chilled beam HVAC system for high energy efficiency.
The buildings have tilt-up concrete wall panels and a standing seam metal roof on a bar joist roof system. The exterior tilt wall panels have thin set brick veneer.
