Clancy & Theys Construction Company is honored to announce the successful completion of the Westminster Baldwin Park Phase II Project.
Located in beautiful Orlando, the Westminster Baldwin Park Phase II Project provides added residential space to the existing multi-generational Baldwin Park neighborhood. Designed by Fugleberg Koch of Winter Park, this monumental project was a challenging addition to Westminster Communities’ thriving and active senior living community.
The campus expansion included the construction of three separate 5-story, post-tension, concrete residential buildings featuring 75 units custom-finished to the individual resident’s specifications. The 181,310 SF of residential space was explicitly constructed in the center of the existing campus and designed for the unique needs of the communities’ residents. The new building provides current or future residents access to the campus’s state-of-the-art amenities and expansive views of Downtown Orlando and Lake Baldwin. Further, the buildings feature innovative and sustainable building details such as higher-efficiency HVAC systems and life-span construction materials, which last for years to come.
Jeff Mock, Vice President of Clancy & Theys and a member of the Westminster Communities of Florida Board of Directors, said construction was challenging 14 months as the world experienced the unknowns of the COVID-19 Pandemic. However, I believe that the team’s proactive approach to project coordination and the implementation of health and wellness practices and protocols made this project the grand success it is. We believed above all, maintaining the well-being of the residents and project team during construction was most important. Because of this approach, the project was able to progress as needed, and our team was able to fulfill the organization’s mission of serving its residents.
“You blessed the lives of our folks at Clancy & Theys, too, keeping the hundreds and hundreds of workers out there working on building this new community. This organization truly is blessed,” Jeff Mock said.
Clancy & Theys is beyond grateful for the opportunity to partner with Westminster Communities, the Westminster Baldwin Park Community, and the resident’s community on this monumental project. It is in opportunities like these where we feel the most rewarded.
