Designed to facilitate remote learning experiences, the center features state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratories, and a television studio. As part of our commitment to efficiency and cost-effectiveness, we offered detailed cost-saving alternatives and value engineering options. This included optimizing roof design and insulation, as well as recommending high-performance cavity insulation, resulting in over $50,000 in approved cost savings without compromising project quality.
This building also houses cutting-edge studios and production facilities essential for operating South Carolina Educational Television’s broadcasting needs. The project demanded precision in construction, including super-flat floor slabs for camera stability, sound attenuation features, specialized insulation, and blackout room conditions typical of advanced broadcast environments.
