We Want Every Team Member to Make It Home

The safety of our employees and our partners is of the utmost importance to us. Our goal is for everyone, on every job, to focus every day on the safety and well-being of themselves and others.

Preventing Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) incidents requires partnership and cooperation among all project stakeholders, including OSHA. During the planning stage of each project, we develop a well-informed and integrated EH&S team.

Each year our workplace safety plan is submitted to the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). We strive for the highest level of accolades, and have achieved and maintained Diamond Level the last several years.

How We Guarantee Workplace Safety for Our People

Plan

First, we develop a workplace safety plan specific to the project site. We include a high level of detail and document all the potential challenges of the site.

Train

Next, our superintendents train all of our trade partners on our workplace safety plan and set expectations early. They will host regular “Toolbox Talks” throughout construction to reiterate our guidelines and ensure everyone is on the same page.

Act

Throughout the life of a project, superintendents and safety personnel make a constant effort to ensure the workplace safety guidelines and site-specific plans are being followed.
