The Clancy & Theys Charlotte team recently volunteered with Habitat for Humanity to build a home for a family in the local community. Twelve team members participated in the project, helping check off many tasks needed to complete construction.
Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte brings people together to build homes, communities and hope through faith, innovation and passion. Since Habitat for Humanity came to Charlotte in 1983, over 1,700 families have been served and $15 million has been given back to the city in property taxes paid by Habitat Charlotte homeowners.
The Clancy & Theys team worked diligently on the house, completing tasks like flashing windows, installing hurricane ties, caulking walls and installing doorknobs. The team completed their list early and were given additional responsibilities throughout the day.
“We thoroughly enjoyed volunteering at the Habitat for Humanity home build,” commented Robert Hall, Vice President of Clancy & Theys Charlotte. “We had a great turnout and a wonderful time giving back to our community, and we look forward to making Habitat building days a regular occurrence for our team.”
Clancy & Theys is committed to giving back to the communities in which we work and live. The team is grateful to have had this opportunity to team up with Habitat for Humanity to help build a home for one of our neighbors in Charlotte.
