Churchill Hall, Clancy & Theys’ most recent addition to Durham’s Imperial Center corporate park, has earned the coveted Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver certification. LEED is the most widely used green building system rating in the world and is a global symbol of sustainable achievement.
The 151,579-square-foot, five-story Class A office building, located at the corner of Page Road and Miami Boulevard in Durham, is the ninth building Clancy & Theys has constructed in the corporate park.
Churchill Hall is the first office building in the Triangle featuring View Dynamic Glass, an intelligent glass system designed to automatically adjust its tint based on the sun’s position in the sky and local weather conditions. The glass allows for optimization of the indoor climate and the outside view, increasing comfort, productivity and energy efficiency.
Rated among the Top 100 Green Builders by Engineering News-Record, Clancy & Theys has effectively responded to the dramatic expansion of green construction in recent years.
